HENRYK GAJEWSKI, ANDY WARHOL, 1974 (1-32/32)
On 11 November 1974 Henryk Gajewski – an artist, creator of video films and founder of the Remont Gallery in Warsaw – has performed the action entitled „Andy Warhol”. He has prepared and sent invitations to the meeting with Andy Warhol to individuals and institutions. For Polish (and not only) artistic environment, the visit of the American Pop Art legend was an extraordinary occasion to meet a creator of a global range in times of communist isolation.
