Hermaphrodite, 1986. (1-23/23)

In the mid-1980s Libera's examined the notion of human sexuality. The area of his interest encompassed all that was on society's margin, non-normativity, gender fluidity (both biological and culture one), androgyny and their reception by wider society.

The political system of the time rigidly dictated the frames and boundaries of social life – there were no space there on deviations from once and for all decided norms, or any signs of individuality, even in such personal sphere as sexuality.
